EMELIA (MARY) KRULICKI Peacefully on October 9, 2000 at the Betel Home, Gimli, Emelia (Mary) Krulicki, aged 93 years, wife of the late Marion Krulicki. Mary was born on April 20, 1907 in Silver, Man. to Anna and Wasyl Firman and lived her early years in Fisher Branch. She later moved to Winnipeg and on January 23, 1932 married Marion Krulicki. They moved to Fisher Branch in 1934 and in 1947 moved to Gimli. Mary was a well known seamstress in the Gimli area and had made many wedding and formal gowns for the local ladies. She was a lifetime member of the Sacred Heart Ukrainian Catholic Church and Ladies League and was also a founding member of the Gimli New Horizons Club. Mary was a great admirer and supporter of the Barvinok Ukrainian Dance Club. Mary was predeceased by her father Wasyl in 1943 her mother Anna in 1951, brother Michael in 1977, sister Jennie Husak in 1977 and brother Walter in 1985, her husband Marion in 1974 and husband Mike Malesko in 1986, and son-in-law Paul Dudar in 1970. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Nancy and grandchildren Jerry (Colleen) of Winnipeg; Louise (Don) and Darlene (Brian) of Gimli; son Frank (Sandy) of Michigan and grandchildren Terry (Ron), Donna (Tim), Brian (Pam) and Jody (Tim) of Virginia and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 13 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gimli Funeral Chapel with Deacon Ray Sutton officiating. Interment will follow in the Gimli Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Barvinok Ukrainian Dance Club, Box 1694, Gimli, MB, R0C 1B0. Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Gimli, in care of arrangements.
