MARY LAWSON April 15, 1909 - October 9, 2000 On Monday, October 9, 2000 with her family by her side, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away. Mary was pre-deceased by her husband Jack; daughter Bobbi and numerous brothers and sisters. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Jackie (Harvey) son-in-law Jim; grandsons, Rob (Donna), Larry (Molly), Corey (Marie) granddaughter Michele; great-granddaughters, Rebecca, Melissa, Janet; sister Irene; brother George of Florida, many nieces and nephews. Mary loved going to her cottage at Winnipeg Beach that she and Jack built. She was a member of the Elmwood Senior Centre and enjoyed bowling and participating in many activities including trips around the world. She was a member for many years at Gordon King Memorial Church and also of the Ladies of the Universal Craftsmen Council of Engineers. Mary enjoyed family gatherings and will be greatly missed. We will also miss her kindness, sense of humour and the many stories she had to tell. Pallbearers will be son-in-law Jim, grandsons, Rob, Larry, Corey, nephew Blair Edgar and neighbour Tom Russell. Funeral services will be held at Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway on Friday, October 13, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
