FRANK ALBERT PETRACHEK It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Frank Albert Petrachek on October 9, 2000 at the Arborg and District Health Centre at the age of 80 years, our beloved husband, father and grandfather. Frank was predeceased by a daughter Diane; grandson Lyle; his brother Joe and sister Mary. Dad spent most of his years doing what he loved most, farming. He also did other odd jobs during his early years. He was always there to help his friends and neighbours when needed whether it be physical labour or just giving advice. Whenever his children or grandchildren needed help he was always there to help whether to fix something or to tell them how it was to be done. Mom was always by Dads side whether helping him with the farming or just being by his side while he was sick. Prayers will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 12 at the Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 13 in St. Philip Neri Roman Catholic Church, Arborg, Rev. Fr. So many broken hearts, so many tears When our hearts are empty We can always remember the good times with Francis The time has come for all of us to bow our head in prayer That with all our loneliness and heart ache Frankie has gone to a better place. So with that we say God, take care of this man Take care of this beloved husband, father and grandfather With open hearts we will be sad, we will cry But most of all Frank we will miss you We love you and always will.
