ANNE DIDYCHUK Peacefully, on Tuesday, October 10, 2000 at Misericordia Health Centre, in her 91st year, Anne Didychuk passed away, the last surviving child of Ivan and Wasylyna Lobur. She was predeceased by her husband John in 1985; sisters, Ksenia Lobur (1922), Mary Klem (1986), Helen Fedirchuk (1988), Katherine Anderson (1996) and one brother William Lobur (1999). Anne was born and raised in Senkiw, Man. After her marriage to John Didychuk on August 9, 1932 they resided in the Woodmore district for many years, moving to Winnipeg in 1963. Annes greatest love and pride was her home. She will be remembered by her sister-in-law Ann Lobur of Woodmore; four nephews, Maurice Klem of Burlington, Tony Klem of St. Thomas, William Klem and Nestor Klem of Windsor, Ont.; four nieces, Olga Parks, Sally Dupuis, Mary Brandt of Windsor, Ont. and Olga Skrumeda of Winnipeg. The family would like to express its gratitude to the entire staff of Cedar Grove at Misericordia Health Centre. Sincere appreciation is extended to Shelvy, Angie, Ching and Carlo for their compassion and kindness during her final hours. A special thank you to Drs. Bhayana, Pat Harris, nurses, Marguerite and Carole of the Oncology Clinic and the entire staff at Concordia Hospital. The family is grateful to God for the grace and mercy bestowed upon our aunt in her final days. Pallbearers will be Maurice Storoschuk, Bill Kowalchuk, Derek Chesney, William Wachna, Peter Gawronsky and John Gawronsky. Panakhyda will be on Thursday, October 12 at 7:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (Across form the Royal Canadian Mint). Funeral Rite will be on Friday, October 13 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Senkiw, Man. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Remembrances of Anne may be sent to the Misericordia Hospital Foundation, 99 Cornish Ave., Winnipeg R3C 9Z9. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN EDEN FUNERAL HOME 4477 MAIN STREET 338-7111
