Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMYRTLE AGNES VIVIER Myrtle Agnes Vivier (nee McNabb) of Gilbert Plains, Manitoba passed away in the Dauphin Regional Health Care Centre on October 8, 2000 at the age of 80 years. This is a time of deep sadness for all who knew Myrtle for her quiet, gentle way. She touched and enriched the lives of everyone she came in contact with. Myrtle was born in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba on April 22, 1920. She leaves to mourn her six children: Leona Marquart of Gilbert Plains; Charles Vivier and wife Josie of Calgary, AB; William (Jack) Vivier and Linda of Winnipeg; Leo Vivier of Winnipeg; Debbie Beaudoin and husband Ron of Calgary; Angela (Toni) Sexton and husband Douglas of Winnipeg, 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Charles Leo Paul Vivier on May 23, 1990 and one son James Allan Vivier on April 29, 1984. Myrtle lived for her family and close friends. They were the joy of her life. Her fondest memories were when her children were young and all at home. Her children filled her heart and made her life worthwhile. Throughout her lifetime, Myrtle came to appreciate a number of things that gave her great pleasure, her love for her dogs and cats; budgies throughout her lifetime; the many birds that came to feed and live in her yard; her cup of tea; her garden and plants; her favourite baseball team and fishing. Following cremation, a beautiful service was held at her place of residence for over 16 years with family and close friends in attendance, on Saturday, October 14, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. Mrs. Ilene Dowd officiated. Should friends so desire, donations in memory of Myrtle can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or to the Canadian Lung Association. To have a Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, then to part, Is the greatest tribute to the human heart. No one knows how much we will miss you. No one knows the bitter pain we will suffer. Since we lost you, life will never be the same. Memories will linger, sweet, tender, fond and true. Dear Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother There wont be a day that we will not be thinking of you. - Your loving family The Sneath-Strilchuk Funeral Service had care of the arrangements.
