Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMERLE BEATRICE HADDAD Suddenly on Wednesday, October 11, 2000, at her residence, Merle Beatrice Haddad, of Portage la Prairie, Man., and formerly of Amaranth, Man., widow of the late George Haddad, passed away at the age of 72 years. Predeceased by her husband George in 1987 and sister Clara Douglas; she leaves to mourn her passing her son Keith (Trish) of Winnipeg, grandsons, Benjamin, Kyle, Daniel; son Cleg (Kelli) of Portage, grandchildren, Michael, Liam, Avery; daughter Tanis (Brent) MacAulay of Portage, grandsons, Nigel, Aaron. Also surviving is one brother Arnold (Edith) Keith of Regina and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be held at the Trinity United Church, 15 Tupper St. S., Portage la Prairie, on Monday, October 16, at 1:30 p.m. with the Reverend Leith Saunders officiating. Interment of the cremated remains will follow in the family plot at Hillside Cemetery. Should friends so desire memorial donations may be made to the Sunset Palliative Care, Inc., Box 92, Portage la Prairie, Man., R1N 3A7, or charity of their choice.
