FRANK GRUBER October 20, 1926 - October 13, 2000 Peacefully, surrounded by his family, Frank Gruber passed away at Riverview Health Centre. He leaves behind his son Bern Gruber, his two daughters, Doreen McMorran (Peter) and Carmen Kornberger (Neil) and two grand-children Erika and Stefanie Kornberger. He was born in Kefermarkt, Austria and came to Canada in 1954. He worked at the CNR as an electrician for 31 years, retiring in 1986. Frank enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. With respect for his wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 17 at 1:00 p.m. at Christ The King Church, 847 St. Marys Road. Interment will follow at Waverley Memorial Gardens, 1501 Waverley Street. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital (PANSU) and Riverview Health Centre (3 East), for the care and compassion they showed. In lieu of flowers, should friends desire, donations in Franks memory may be made to the Cancercare Manitoba Foundation, 100 Olivia Street, Winnipeg, MB R3E 9Z9.
