ANN HELEN BIDOWSKI With heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our dearest wife, mother, grand- mother Ann Bidowski on Tuesday October 10, 2000 at Health Sciences Centre. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband Stanley, son Stanley Jr., daughters Linda McKay (Neil), Patricia, Anna Bidowski; grandchildren Ryan, Sapphire, Eric McKay; brother Bill Harrison (Nora), George Harrison (Doreen) sisters Rose Wilson, Victoria Fuller, Pauline Pohl (Ruebin), Kathleen Aldwinckle; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours. She was predeceased by her parents Alex and Katie Harrison, brothers-in-law Allen Wilson and Edward Watling. Ann was born on the family farm at Kelwood, Manitoba on September 23, 1932. She was educated in Kelwood and Brandon. Ann loved being with people. Her generous smile, warm-hearted personality and zest for life affected everyone whose lives she touched. Ann moved from Brandon to Winnipeg where she met and married Stanley on August 21, 1954. They lived for a while with Stans Mother who was a great influence on her. She worked as a waitress for the Winnipeg Winter Club, Manitoba Club, Naleway Caterers and the Winnipeg Convention Centre until she retired in 1999. Moms life was very devoted to her children and her home. She enjoyed working with the many people at her church and could always be called on to help when needed. She will always be remembered, loved and will live on through her family and children. Prayers will be held on Sunday, October 15, at 7:00 p.m. in Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Resurrection will be held on Monday, October 16, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Marys Polish National Catholic Church, 361 Burrows Avenue. Very Reverend Monsignor Wesley Cwieka will officiate at the services. Interment will follow at St. Marys Polish National Cemetery. Flowers graciously accepted but if friends so wish, donations to St. Marys Polish National Catholic Church would be appreciated. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL in care of arrangements, 586-8044.
