HENRY ABRAM JANZEN At the Kingston General Hospital on Saturday, October 14, 2000 in his 76th year. For 50 years, dearly beloved husband of the late Vera Martha Janzen (Isaak). Loving father of Arthur (Diane Aubrey), Victor (Heather), and Gordon (Jo-Anne Riley). Grandfather of Jean-Matthieu, Nedia and Edina Coutinho, Ryan, Meghan and Emily, and Joshua, Jacob and Luke. Beloved brother of Justina Penner of Calgary, Susan Janzen of St. Catherines, and Mary Coombs of Mississauga. Henry will be remembered for the strength of his faith, his enthusiasm for people and their company, his unfailing optimism, and his eagerness to plunge into activities of all description. His teaching career, his many Christian and community volunteer activities, his keen interest in Mennonite heritage and his passion for sports were all expressions of his natural love for people and his faith in action. Resting at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (900 Counter St., Kingston, Ont.). Friends will be received on Tuesday, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service to be held in the Kingston Alliance Church (corner of Bath and Palace Road) on Wednesday, October 18 at 1:00 p.m. Interment Cataraqui Cemetery. Those wishing to honour Henrys memory may wish to make contributions to the Kingston Regional Cancer Centre or Queens Theological College.
