Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLUCIEN JOSEPH TURENNE Proud Member of the Canadian Legion Oakville Branch 114 It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Lucien, peacefully at his home after a valiant battle with leukemia on Friday, October 13, 2000 in his 78th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Rosella (nee Heffernan) for over 50 years. Proud and loving father of Mike and his wife Debbie, Ron and his wife Heather and Patrick and his friend Chrissy. Very special grandpa of Brendan, Laurie, Max and Michelle. Dear brother of Terry of Winnipeg and Roland of Ethiopia and brother-in-law of Marcie Heffernan of Guelph. Predeceased by siblings Marie, George, Leo and Jean. Loved son of the late Joseph Emery and Marie. A decorated war veteran Lucien proudly served his country both overseas and at home. Friends called at the Oakview Funeral Home, 56 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr), Oakville, on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Mass to celebrate Luciens life is being held today at St. Michaels Church, 181 Sewell Drive, Oakville at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Luciens memory to the Leukemia Research Fund of Canada. A special thanks to Dr. May and the nurses at St. Joes Hospital in Guelph for their many kindnesses. Always in our Hearts
