JOAN MURIEL KATHERINE MEURS It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Joan Meurs at the Golden Door Care Home October 16, 2000 at the age of 78 years. Joan was predeceased by her loving husband and best friend Leonard (Len) of 50 years on April 20, 1996 and brother Fred. She was born in Bideford, North Devonshire, England Joan will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters Marie, Shirley (Michael), Val; grandsons James and Jeff; brothers Frank (Mary), Cyril (Beryl) sister-in-law Flo, nieces and nephews, Jean and Alexandria, Michael, Linda and Adrian, Marie. Many thanks to the staff of Golden Door Care Home for all the loving care that was given. Service of Remembrance will be held Thursday, October 19, at 2:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley Street.
