Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEARL ERNEST FORTIER June 6, 1942 - October 16, 2000 Earl died peacefully and unexpectedly at his residence at the age of 58 years. Earl worked for over 30 years as a postal employee and earned the respect of clients, staff and fellow workers. During his employment he worked for a number of organizations and continued to support many of them in his retirement. He was involved in golf tournaments, truck rodeos, curling bonspiels, the Variety Telethon and Christmas Cheer Board. He loved sports, as a participant, a spectator and coach. Most of all he loved his family. Pauline his ex-wife and good friend, Joyce and her fiance Butch, his grandchildren Daniel, Robin, Matthew and Joshua. His son Christopher and his wife Aimee and their son Ethen and the much awaited new grandchild. His mother Mae, brothers Bob and Brian; sister Bonnie; nine nephews and nieces and his aunts uncles and cousins. He missed his Dad Ernie who died just two years ago. Earl had a great capacity for love. There will be a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 20, in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway with Pastor Kevin Snyder officiating.
