MARY C. TULLOCH It is with great sadness that the family of Mary Tulloch announce that she passed away in the early morning hours of Tuesday, October 17, 2000. Mary is survived by her brother Jack Tulloch (Barbara) nieces, Bonnie Tulloch (Dan Gouthro), Heather Tulloch (Laurence, Katie and David Brownell) and great-niece and nephew Signy and Jon Brownell. Mary was predeceased by her mother and father Connie and John Tulloch and nephew Brian Tulloch. Mary was born September 13, 1916 in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. She came to Canada with her family in 1920. In her early years the family lived in Stony Mountain, Manitoba and she graduated from Stony Mountain High School. Mary then attended St. Boniface School of Nursing in Winnipeg, graduating in 1940. She nursed for 40 years at St. Boniface General Hospital and the Health Sciences Centre. Mary retired from nursing as Evening Nursing Supervisor at the Health Sciences Centre. Marys greatest joys were her memories of her nursing career and the many friends she made at the hospitals. Her greatest pride was living in her immaculate home in the West End. Her happiest times in the last year have been watching her great-niece and nephew Signy and Jon grow and mature. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial service to celebrate Marys life will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 20, at St. Patrick and St. Jude Anglican Church, 612 Valour Road, with the Rev. John L. Moore officiating. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Health Sciences Centre Foundation, MS7-820 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, R3A 1R9. The family are very grateful to numerous friends, neighbours and medical staff for their care and concern. "Auntie Mary", we love you and miss you. THOMSON FUNERAL CHAPELS 783-7211
