Dad was born in Austria on January 21, 1909. He came to Canada at a very young age in 1928. He took up a homestead in the St. Martin area and began to farm. He met Katherine Sidak and were later married in 1938. This union was blessed with six children. He enjoyed going for long walks and sharing stories about his life history with family and friends. Ted is survived by his children, Alice (Vern) Williams, Nick (Rose) Halaburda, Clifford (Cecile) Halaburda, Mildred (Edward) Knowles, Sylvia (Tom) McMahon, Max (Bella) Halaburda along with 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
