Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHOMAS NEMETCHEK Suddenly, at the Victoria General Hospital, Tom passed away on October 18, 2000 at the age of 76 years. He is survived by his wife Sylvia; children, Jannette (Russell) Scott, Bev (Edwin) Reimer, Ron (Barb), Mervin and Glenn (Karol), nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one sister, one brother and numerous other relatives and friends. Tom was predeceased by his parents and one brother. In 1929, Tom came to Canada from Poland. They settled in the Ravensworth District. They moved to Winnipeg in 1965. He had worked in the carpentry industry for some time before moving into the flooring business, where he owned T & R Flooring. Funeral service was held on Friday, October 20, 10:00 a.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (across from the Royal Canadian Mint), with Pastor Cam Fontaine presiding. Viewing began at 9:30 a.m. Interment followed in the Garden of Devotion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102 - 310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 0S6.
