Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIRENE HEPPNER It is with sadness and a deep sense of loss that the family of Irene Heppner announce her passing on October 14, 2000. Irene Heppner was born to Peter and Bertha Heppner on January 19, 1929 in Morden, Man. With the exception of several years, spent in Kenora, Ont. she spent her life living in Winnipeg. She was an avid golfer and loved attending concerts, theatre productions and enjoyed dining out with her friends. Irene is survived by her sisters and brothers, Leona Toews, Sue Riediger, both of Morden, Viola (Dorrence) Smith of Salem, Oregon, Kathy (George) Enns of Burnaby, BC, Peter (Marion) of Winnipeg, Ed (Evelyn) of Phoenix, Arizona, Art (Kathleen) of Brandon, Albert (Marion) of Abbotsford, BC, and many nephews, nieces and friends. Irene was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Bertha Heppner, sister Ann and brother John. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 20 at 11:00 a.m. at the Broadway First Baptist Church, located at Honeyman and Walnut in Winnipeg, with interment following at the Southside Cemetery in Morden at 3:00 p.m. If friends desire, donations may be made to the Myasthenia Gravis Chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
