FRANK HUNTER December 4, 1935 - October 16, 2000 On Monday, October 16, 2000, Frank passed away at his residence. Frank was pre-deceased by his parents, Gordon and Margaret Hunter. He will be sadly missed by his children, Ken (Sharon), Jeff (Merrill), Pat (Gerry) Gyles and Laura Hunter and friend Gene; grandchildren, Favian, Brittany, Samantha, Sydney and Patrick; great-grandson Matthew; one sister Pat (Ron) Castelane and other relatives and close friends. Frank went to Cecil Rhodes School and played hockey at Weston Community Club. He worked for MTS from 1957 till his retirement in 1992. He had a great love for coaching baseball and ringette and was instrumental in the development of the Ringette Program in St. James. He loved his Tuesday Morning Breakfasts with the boys and Wednesday afternoons at the Legion, shooting pool, along with his month meetings with the Pioneers. According to Franks wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service to celebrate Franks life will be held on Friday, October 20, at 3:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Franks memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Wpg., R3B 2H8.
