Change in Time of Service DONALD KEMP McCOLL Peacefully at home on October 12, 2000, Donald McColl passed away at the age of 69. Donald was predeceased by his wife Phyllis; son-in-law Stephen Young; brothers Hugh, Tom, and Jack; sisters Helen, Florence, Gladys, and Dorothy. Donald will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Darlene (Gilles) Bernatchez and Jo-ann (Shawn) Campbell; grandchildren Shaun, Matthew, Alexander, and Jason Bernatchez, Lindsay Young, and Tyler Campbell; sisters Olive (Len) Robinson and Muriel (Les) Franks; brother Ken (Pat) McColl; sisters-in-law Dorothy McColl and Margaret McColl. Donald retired from Eatons after 45 years of service. He was active in many sports but enjoyed golf and bowling in his retirement years. Donald was always full of wit and humour, he enjoyed a full life. "He will be sadly missed by his family and friends." The family would like to thank Keith and Elsie for their care and kindness shown to Donald. Should friends so desire, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301 - 352 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8, in memory of Donald, would be appreciated by the family. A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, October 20, 2000, at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Interment and reception will follow.
