Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEMILEY PATON (nee BROWN) Peacefully on Tuesday, October 17, 2000 at the Lundar Personal Care Home, Emiley Paton, age 90 years. Emiley was born in Eriksdale, MB at her parents home in Parkview on March 21, 1910. She met and later married Earl Paton in 1938. Together they farmed most of their lives at Swan Creek near Lundar. They retired and moved to the town of Lundar, MB. Emiley was an Auxiliary Legion Member of the Lundar Branch No. 185 for many years. She leaves to mourn her brothers, Henry of Fisher Branch, MB, Donald of Rathwell, MB; sisters, Florence Kingsley of Nipawin, SK, Annie Vogat of Williams Lake, B.C., Elsie Hill of Calgary, AB, Margaret Fry of Victoria, B.C., Gert Miller of Eriksdale; a foster son Robert Brown and family of Chilliwak, B.C.; foster daughter Gail Monkman and family of Winnipeg, MB, along with numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many good friends. She was predeceased by her husband Earl Paton in 1989; her mother Annie; father Arthor; brothers, William, George, Walter and Jes; sisters, Julia and Beatrice. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 22 at the Lundar Legion Hall with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the hall. Interment to follow in the Lundar Municipal Cemetery. Pallbearers for Emiley will be John Guttormson, John Mark, Karl Miller, Craig Miller, Dwayne Miller and Ken Miller. Special thanks to the staff at the Lundar Personal Care Home for the wonderful care and support they gave Emiley and our family over the years.
