RUTH SHRUTWA (BENNETT) Peacefully on October 15, 2000 at the Health Sciences Centre. Ruth passed away at the age of 69. She was predeceased by her mother Mabel Bennett and Grandson Riley Meeches; Ruth leaves to mourn her children, Vicky Pitman (Lorne), Ted Shrutwa (Margaret), Ruth Pitman-Jarvis (Steve), Christine Shrutwa, Susan Lauk, Kathy Bleasdale (Ed), Ellen Shrutwa (Garth), Margaret Meeches (Kerry), Fred Shrutwa, Cheryl Besser (Rob) one brother James Lee (Helen) and nephew Darryl (Karen). She will also be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Christopher, Rhonda (Jack), Kymberley, Sarah, Corinne, Che, Tyler, Lindsey, Crystal, Sean, Robert, Kyle, Melissa, Courtney, Melanie, Skyler, Grayson, Sara and Jordan. At Ruths request, cremation has taken place and a private service was held on Wednesday, October 18 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Childrens Wish Foundation, Lower Level, 350 St. Mary Avenue, R3C 3J2. Miss me but let me go When I come to the end of the road And the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom-filled room Why cry for a soul set it free?
