Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNEWTON WENDELL HOLMES Peacefully at Deer Lodge Centre after a lengthy battle with Alzheimers on October 18, 2000, aged 83 years. Predeceased by his loving wife Eileen (Ellor) and brother Joe. Left to mourn his loss are daughter Judy Driver and her husband Alex MacLean of Beamsville, Ont.; grandchildren, Julie Driver of Kitchener, Ont., Jenny Marttala, husband Ken and their children, Andy and Sarah of Okotoks, Alta., Gord Driver of Regina, Sask.; son-in-law Tony Driver of Camp Verde, Arizona; and cherished friend Luba Perehinec. Newt proudly served his country overseas with the Royal Canadian Army during the Second World War. Cremation has taken place. At his request there will be no service.
