JOHN (JACK) SMART December 12, 1921 - October 17, 2000 With great sadness in our hearts, we announce the sudden passing of our loving husband and father Jack on Tuesday, October 17, 2000 at the Grace Hospital, at the age of 78 years. Jack will be missed by all. He leaves behind his dearly beloved wife Lillian; sons, Jack (Florence) and David (Margaret). Jack will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Janine, Shaun, Ginette, Jesse and Neil as well as his sister and brother, Marjorie and Peter of England. A Funeral Service for Jack will be held on Tuesday, October 24 at 1:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Memories in Wojciks Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Avenue at Sharp Boulevard with Lieut. Colonel Maxwell Ryan officiating. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to The Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service, Public Safety Building, 5th Floor, 151 Princess St., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 1L1 or the Fire Fighters Burn Fund, 202 - 666 St. James St., Winnipeg, MB, R3G 3J6. The Fire Paramedic Service tried so very, very hard to save Jack. We will never forget them. "Peacefully you sleep Granda. You put a smile on everyones face.
