GAIL LOUISE WRIGHT (nee CHARTRAND) Peacefully, on Friday, October 20, 2000 at Victoria General Hospital, Winnipeg, Gail Wright, aged 63 years of Winnipeg and formerly of Narcisse, Man. Born June 23, 1937 in the R.M. of Coldwell. Predeceased by her husband Walter and by her parents; three brothers, Emil, Ronald and Leon. Surviving to mourn her loss are three sons, Walter (Doreen) of Narcisse, grandchild Wallace and great-grandchild Shelby; Wayne (Leona) of Gimli; Wilson (Shelley) of Balmoral, grandchildren, Wade and Warren; one daughter Diane Wright (Lori) of Winnipeg, grandchild April; four sisters, Florence Wiebe, Mabel (Bill) Mayers-McAdam, Ruth Chartrand, Doris Hayden (Wally) all of Winnipeg; three brothers, Willie (Pauline) Chartrand of Quesnel, B.C., Bruce (Shirley) Chartrand of Winnipeg, Eric Chartrand (Morley) of Winnipeg; also by uncle Dave (Tina) Chartrand of Teulon. There are many nieces and nephews. Born and raised in Oak Point, Man., she married Walter Wright and moved to Narcisse, Man. where she farmed and raised her family. The family wish to express special thanks to the doctors and nursing staff at the Victoria General Hospital especially nurse Ron at the 3rd floor nursing station for the care and kindness shown to Gail and the family. Prayers will be held on Sunday, October 22 at 7:00 p.m. in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 23 at 2:00 p.m. in the St. Laurent Roman Catholic Church, St. Laurent, Man. Interment to follow in the Notre Dame Cemetery, Oak Point, Man. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of the arrangements.
