ELSIE BERNADETTE DELABBIO It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elsie Delabbio on Wednesday, October 18, 2000 at the Health Science Centre at the age of 72. Elsies memory will be forever cherished by her devoted husband of 53 years, Guido (Buddy). She was the beloved mother of Pattie (Stan Tataryn) and Brenda, and grandmother to Stephen, Michelle, and Sean Moore, and Lisa, Erika, and Kaila Anttila. She was predeceased by her parents Ed and Lena Harder; her sisters Sally Mazepa and Linda Dorosch, and son-in-law Dr. Richard Anttila. Elsie found happiness and total joy with her family, especially her grandchildren. She never tired of spending time with them and was constantly proud of their achievements. She was able to face her untimely death with the same dignity and grace she showed us all through her life. Her capacity to love is an inspiration to all that knew her. She was truly a beautiful person and will be deeply missed. Funeral Mass will be sung on Saturday, October 21, at St. John Brebeuf Church, 1707 John Brebeuf Place, at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Michael Koryluk and Rev. Fr. Johnson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Marys Academy Bursary Fund, 550 Wellington Crescent, R3M 0C1.
