Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH KRAYNYK (nee OSADCHUK) On Thursday, October 19, 2000 at the St. Anne Hospital, with her daughter at her side, Elizabeth Kraynyk of Richer, Man., formerly of Sundown passed away at the age of 70 years. Elizabeth was born at Trentham, Man. on April 25, 1930 to Peter and Helen Osadchuk. Mom is survived by her children, Diane Kraynyk of Portage la Prairie, Joyce (Dave) Kyrzyk of Winnipeg, Andy (Brenda) Kraynyk of Red Deer, Alta., Robert Kraynyk of Sprague, Man., Shirley Kraynyk of Winnipeg, Gerald (Corrine) Kraynyk of Pine Falls, Man.; sister Ann Lischinski of Winnipeg; brother Nick Osadchuk of Rainy River, Ont., sister Terry (Charlie) Merrick of Vancouver, B.C.; brother Bob (Iris) Osadchuk of Rainy River, Ont. She was predeceased by her brother Mike Osadchuk in 1924; brother Taras Osadchuk in 1929; father Peter Osadchuk in 1962; son Melven Kraynyk in 1963; sister Sophie Platsko in 1971; mother Helen Hladchuk in 1972; husband Bill Kraynyk in 1980; sister Winnie Feniuk in 1993; sister Mary Chernecki in 1999. Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 23 at 10:30 a.m. at the Holy Ascension Ukrainian Catholic Church in Sundown. Interment to follow in Parish Cemetery. It is a deep mystery, this matter of life and death, That the same person who brought us a thousand joys, Can one day leave us a shedding and a thousand tears, so suddenly, suddenly sometimes that we grope for words left unspoken, and for the hug we needed to say good-bye and we wonder how this thread that holds us all to life can be so thin and fragile until one day we find the courage to accept that the living arent meant to understand death only to celebrate life and to remember that the only real death is forgetting. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by daughter Joyce Kyrzyk and grandchildren, Candace and Mike Kyrzyk, Jennifer, Ashley, Eric, Kristen, Brook, Cailin Kraynyk Arrangements entrusted to Loewen Funeral Chapel of Steinbach.
