EDWARD MICHAEL "ED" PUCHNIAK (Owner/Operator Trenton Canadian Tire Store). Peacefully after a lengthy illness at the Trenton Memorial Hospital on Thursday, October 19, 2000. Ed Puchniak of Trenton in his 65th year. Beloved husband of Pat Puchniak; loving father of Christine Thompson and her husband Mike of Bolton, Glenn Puchniak and his wife Nancy of Dauphin, MB and Tom Puchniak and his wife Cathy of Trenton. Also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Katie, Jesse, Emma, Holly, Erica and Joseph; dear brother of Mary Petroski of West Vancouver, Stanley Puchniak of Winnipeg, Eleanor Hambly of Calgary, John Puchniak and Pat Puchniak both of Winnipeg. The family will receive friends at the Jewell Funeral Home, 170 Dundas St. W., Trenton on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be offered at St. Peters Church, Trenton on Monday, October 23 at 11:00 a.m. Father J.J. Hanley officiating. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
