DOROTHY (LEAR) KRAIGSLEY Peacefully after a lengthy illness, on October 19, 2000, at the Riverview Health Centre, Dorothy Kraigsley, aged 91 years, passed away with her family at her side. Dorothy was born on October 25, 1908, in Winnipeg and attended St. Johns High School. She was a longtime member of St. Marks Lutheran Church, the Spinx Temple, Daughters of the Nile and the White Shrine of Jerusalem. She was predeceased by her first husband Eugene Lear in 1965 and by her second husband Martin Kraigsley in 1982, daughter Bernice Kucyk and son-in-law Walter Kucyk, both in 1974. Left to mourn her passing are her daughter Doreen (Al) McGuff; grandchildren, Richard (Kim) McGuff, Cheryl (Tom) Prendergast, Michele (Jeff) Prociuk and Andrew Kucyk; great-grandchildren, Jessica, Brent and Carissa Prociuk, Christyn and Brenley McGuff and Andrea and Ashlee Dvorak. "Love & kisses, Grandma - from "your little boyfriend" Brent." A very special thank you is extended to the nurses and the entire staff on CD4 at the Riverview Health Centre. Your special care, kindness and support was greatly appreciated. Following a private interment in Garry Memorial Park, a memorial service will be held on Monday, October 23, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Marks Lutheran Church, 600 Cambridge, with Pastor Richard Sauer officiating. The service will terminate at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, 790 Bay St., Toronto, Ont., M5G 1N8, or to St. Marks Lutheran Church, 600 Cambridge St., Winnipeg, Man., R3M 3G9.
