CLARA J. GLADUE (nee ANTOINE) Peacefully after a brief illness, on October 18, 2000, at the St. Boniface Hospital, Clara Gladue passed away at the age of 89 years. Born on July 18, 1911, she lived in Haywood and St. Claude until 1958 at which she moved to Winnipeg. Clara was the last surviving child of Josephine and Ernest Antoine. Clara is survived and will be missed by her four children, Josephine Yuskin, Ernie "Sonny" Gladue, Gordon La Pointe and Isabel La Point. She will be especially missed by her "daughter" Shirley Walker and her family Jerry and John. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Viewing will take place from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. at Saint-Denis Roman Catholic Church in Haywood, Man., on Monday October 23. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., also in the church with Reverend Fr. Rodrigue Bouchard presiding. Interment will follow in the Haywood Cemetery. Special thanks to the Emergency Response Service and the staff of 5 B and E.R. at the St. Boniface Hospital.
