I.W. (BILL) BERTRAND On October 19, 2000 at Concordia Hospital, our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather Bill passed away at the age of 88 years. He is survived by his loving children; daughter Beverley and Jim; son Terry and Noraleen; grandchildren, Brad and Laurie, Tammy and Brian, Krista and Sharon; great-grandchildren, Justin, Kelvin, Brayden; also one sister Pearl Hurley. Predeceased by his wife Irene in 1979; his parents; three brothers and one sister and special friend Sally Ducharme. Bill was employed with M.T.S. for 36 years, retiring in 1976. At Bills request, cremation has taken place and an open house celebration of Bills life will be held on Sunday, October 22 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Winnipeg Fire Fighters Burn Fund or Cancer Care of Manitoba. A special thanks to 3rd floor staff of Concordia Hospital for their care and compassion.
