Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHARLES NAGAM After 81 years of living, loving and laughing our Dad passed away on October 20, 2000. Dad will be lovingly remembered by his son Ken; daughter Debbie (Gary) Deibert; grandchildren, Steven and Scott, Charlie and Andrea, Chrystal (Kaylee) and also Terry. He will also be sadly missed by his very best friend throughout his life, his baby brother, Louis (Elva), Betty, and Tootsie, numerous nephews, nieces, his extended family in Scotland, lifetime neighbours and his friends at St. Johns Club, Brooklands and Weston Legion #2. Dad was predeceased by his loving wife Cissy, his son Norman, (who will be greeting him with a cold beer in one hand and a pool stick in the other), his parents Lena and Alex, good friend Walter Peternaik, and siblings, John, George, Fred, Joe, Jim, Albert, Elsise, Mary, Agnes, Florence, Winnie, Alice, Nettie and Margaret. Dad was born March 11, 1919 in Winnipeg and grew up in Lily Bay. He met Mom in Scotland while serving in the war, where they were married, then making their home in Winnipeg with three children. Dads favourite love in life was shooting a good game of pool, playing crib, bowling, horseshoes, and building things. Dad worked in construction with Bird and Dominion. With respect to Dads wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 24, at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Flowers are gratefully declined, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Dads memory to a charity of ones choice. You were an excellent Dad and Grandfather, You brought us invaluable wisdom and knowledge, You showed us the value of caring and the importance of honesty, You taught us the balance of truth and love, For that we are grateful.
