Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHAROLD FREDRICK RICHARDSON Harold died suddenly, on Monday, October 23, 2000 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Harold was born August 14, 1908 in Elgin, Manitoba. He moved to Winnipeg at a young age and worked at Canada Packers before serving in the Army in the Provost Corp during the Second World War. After his discharge in 1946, he joined Canadian National Railway Police Department and worked there until his retirement in 1973. Harold enjoyed golfing, bowling and curling and latterly watching sports on T.V. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Imperial Veterans Branch, and the Foresters. Harold was predeceased by his wife Nelaine, mother Charlotte, father Walter, brothers, Walter, William, Ernest and Cecil, and sister Madge. He is survived by three nephews, Frank Richardson, Donald Porth and Robert Richardson; two nieces, Phyllis Carroll, Barbara Priest, and several great and great-great-nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 27 at 10:00 a.m. from Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Highway 1 at Green Acres Lane. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. The family wish to extend sincere thanks to the staff and residents of the Deaf Centre of Manitoba for their many acts of kindness. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Deaf Centre of Manitoba, 285 Pembina Hwy., Winnipeg, MB, R3L 2E1 or the charity of ones choice.
