Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHARVEY BARTLEY Mr. Harvey Bartley, aged 73 years, of Lone Island Lake, dearly beloved husband of Claire, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2000. Harvey was born in Darwin, MB on June 16, 1927. He worked at many trades throughout his lifetime, including construction worker, dragline operator, rehab guard, carpenter (Lower Fort Garry), conservation officer to name a few. A true outdoorsman, in his retirement, Harvey spent his time doing what he loved best, being with his family and friends, living in the Whiteshell, fishing, hunting, and trapping. He will be sadly missed and will always hold a special place in many hearts. He is survived by his wife Claire; sons Jeff and Gerald (Kanda) daughters Bev (Wayne), Linda (George), Judy, and Sheila (Don) grandchildren Lisa, Leah (Mark), Kyla, Kourtney; great grandson Noah; brothers Jim (Marlene) and John (Pam) sisters Emma and Elsie, also many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 26 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ross United Church, Whitemouth, MB with Rev. Jack Ballentine-Dixon officiating.
