Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM (BILL) WALLIE It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Bill Wallie on October 22, 2000. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife Ruth of 42 years. Bill was born in Thunder Bay and began working for CNR in 1947. He later moved to Winnipeg and continued working until his retirement in 1989. Bill will be remembered for his sense of humor and fun loving ways with a true zest for life. He was always ready to take on a challenge in various areas. Bill liked to debate on various subject matters whenever an interesting topic presented itself. Bill was a people person and talking politics was one of his favorite pastimes. Bill had many hobbies and pastimes. He began his day by taking long walks in the morning. He really enjoyed flying his Piper Cherokee, and took many trips to Mexico, Alaska and Cuba. Also, OshKosh Air Show was a regular on his agenda. Bill also enjoyed his hobby of bee keeping in the summertime. Bill is lovingly survived by his wife Ruth; two sisters Anne Pomor (Jerry) of Summerland, BC, Nancy Pelland (Paul) of Auburn, Washington; nieces Barbara, Lynn, Susan, Marlene, Adeline and great nieces Lindsey and Tiffany. Also nephew Ken, great nephews Clinton and Chancellor. Flowers gratefully declined. Contributions can be made to Mennonite Central Committee or the Winnipeg Humane Society. Funeral services will be held on Saturday October 28, at 1:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Highway. Bill, your beloved dogs Sandy and Muffin are missing you terribly.
