ANNIE SAMORODNY Peacefully, on Monday, October 23, 2000 after suffering a massive stroke three and one half years ago, our dearest loved one passed away at the Deer Lodge Centre. She will also be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Sherry (Bruce), Kim (Don), Cheryl, Ken (Karen), Darren, Debbie (Mark), Connie (Reid), Brad (Belinda), and 11 great-grandchildren. Her pallbearers will be Bruce Watinger, Don Ingram, Mark Dickson, Ken Komonko, Brad Sorokowski and Darren Komonko. Prayers will be said on Thursday, October 26 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Gimli. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 27 at 10:00 a.m. in the Sacred Heart Ukrainian Catholic Church with Fr. Mark Gmutel officiating. Interment to follow in the Gimli Community Cemetery. Special thanks to the wonderful and caring staff at Deer Lodge Centre, 3 East for their excellent care. If family and friends so desire, donations may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3B 2H8. MISS ME BUT LET ME GO When I come to the end of the road And the sun has set for me I want no rites in a gloom filled room Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little, but not too long and not with your head bowed low Remember the love that we once shared Miss me, but let me go For this is a journey we all must take and each must go alone, Its part of the Masters Plan A step on the road to home So when you are lonely and sick at heart Go to the friends we know And bury your sorrow in doing good deeds Miss me, but let me go. Gilbart Funeral Home, Gimli, in care of arrangements.
