HONORA (NORA) LOUISE NOBLE (THOMPSON) Peacefully on October 25, 2000 at Misericordia Place, Nora Noble, passed away. Surviving are her loving husband John; daughter and son-in-law Margaret and Tom Richardson; grandchildren, Patricia, Tim and Genevieve; sister Betty Pentz (Frank) sister-in-law Catherine Thompson; brother-in-law Arthur Townley, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and siblings, Norman, Emileen, Harry, William and Marion. Nora was a devoted wife and grandmother. Married to John for 66 happy years, Nora spent many happy years watching over her daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. Badminton, golf, bowling and walking were very important activities in her life. The cottage at Victoria Beach was a special place for family gatherings. As a volunteer, Nora made many friends at Riverview UCW, Princess Elizabeth Hospital Guild, Winnipeg Canoe Club and the Winnipeg Badminton Club. The family would like to thank the staff of Misericordia Place and Misericordia Health Centre Interim Care for the concerned care given to allow Nora and John to live together for the past 10 months. A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 30 at 1:00 p.m. at Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway.
