GAIL MARLENE STREET (nee ZEMLIDUK) April 24, 1950 - October, 2000 Sadly, we announce the passing of our mom, Baba, grandma, daughter, sister, and friend Gail Street. She will be dearly missed by her two daughters, Simone (Jim) Peters and Amanda (Gayne) Baldwin. Her grandsons, Kyle, Kerry, and Tamas Peters; and (little) Wyatt Baldwin. Mother Trudy (Jim) Fowler; brother John; sisters, Mary (Peter), Karen (Steve), Donna (Terry), (little) sister Linda (Yvon) brothers-in-law, Wayne (Mariann) Street and Jack Street; and many relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Richard L. Street; her father John; brother Terry; father and mother-in-law, George and Eleanor Street; and the family Bulldog Wrinkles. Gail was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB. She graduated with honours at St. Johns High School in 1968. She was faithfully involved with Robertson Memorial Sunday School, the choir, girls club, and counselling at summer camp in Gimli, MB. She was married in March of 1970. Soon after marriage, Mom and Dad started showing and breeding Great Danes, which was the beginning of Moms 30 years of pet grooming. She enjoyed grooming pets very much and even groomed a former premieres pet. After struggling with a lengthy illness, Mom has now found peace and will live on in eternity with Dad. We want to express our appreciation and thank Dr. Oscar and Heather Domke; Bonnie Hoffer-Steiman and all the staff in ICU at Victoria General Hospital. Saturday, October 28 a Memorial service will be held in the honour of Gail at 12:30 p.m., at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Rev. Roger Paavola officiating. Mom was very special and her spirit will live on in all of us. 23rd Psalm The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His names sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rainbow Society, 302-171 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 1M4 or the Childrens Wish Foundation, 350 St. Mary Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 3J2. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
