VERA TAYLOR Vera passed away unexpectedly in her sleep October 26, 2000. She is survived by her husband Kenneth; son Kelly (Sandy) and grandsons, Spencer and Austin. She was predeceased by her mother Rachel. Also mourning her loss are twin sister Cecilia Dawson (Roy) nephews, Lance and Tony Dawson; sisters, Winona Haussner, Marjorie Tasovac (Wally) brother Cyril Keighley (Mary) nephew Sean; brother Charles Keighley. She will also be remembered by numerous nephews and nieces, as well as Aunty Betsy McKenzie of Stanley Mission, Sask. A skilled artist and artisan, Vera worked many years at Winnipeg Photo Ltd., retouching photographs. Later she turned her skills toward her many crafts, including her beautiful tole art, works of which grace the homes of many special friends and family members. Vera loved hunting and fishing and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #1, where she enjoyed bingo, meat draws, and companionship. She also liked her trips to Shooting Star Casino. Vera has been cremated. Service will be Monday, October 30 at Cropo Funeral Chapel at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
