KENNETH MUNRO ROLFE It is with the deepest sadness that we announce the passing of our dear husband and father Ken Rolfe on October 25, 2000 at the Deer Lodge Centre. He leaves to mourn his passing, Norma (Moodie), his loving wife of 59 years and his three sons, Wayne and wife Doris and his children Donna and Ryan and their mother Judy, Ryans wife Joan and their children Ryley and Sorsha and Doriss four children and their families; Lee; Dennis and wife Ruth and their children Scott and Cindy; as well as many nieces and nephews. Ken also leaves five sisters and two brothers. He was predeceased by his mother, father and one brother. Ken was born in Winnipeg on November 25, 1920. Most of his growing years were spent in the Spruce Street; he attended Isaac Brock School. His interests included golf (he was a member of the Assiniboine Golf Club for 29 years), five-pin bowling, car racing, boxing and hockey. For many years he was actively involved with the St. James Canadians Hockey Club and served as the clubs president 1976 to 1977. Ken was owner/operator of Acme Radiator Service for over 50 years. He was a member of the army R.C.E.M.E. for 3 years from 1942 to 1945. Our sincerest thank you to the staff of L7 and to Stella and Michelle for the rides home, and to the dietary staff we got to know so well. Thank you hardly seems enough for all the caring and attention you gave Ken. I wish I could name you all. I must give a special thanks to Debbie Benger, a more understanding and compassionate person you couldnt find anywhere. Thank you for all the friendly talks I had with you and Chris Enns. I will miss you all. Also a special thanks to Kens sister Jean and Fred for all the attention you gave Ken, and for all the help you gave me. It was appreciated more than I can say. Cremation has taken place. As per Kens wishes, there will be no service.
