JAMES (JIM) FRANCIS MEDEL It is with deep sorrow, that we announce the sudden death of Jim, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Monday, October 23, 2000 at the St. Boniface General Hospital, at the age of 54 years. He was the beloved husband of Florence of Winnipeg, Manitoba. James resided in Winnipeg and was predeceased by his parents. He took one day at a time, always saying, "Yesterday is gone, today is here and if I wake up tomorrow, its a bonus." A private Graveside Service and burial was held on Friday, October 27 at 1:00 p.m., in the Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba. I would especially like to thank Dr. Paul Kerr. With his care and guidance, Jim and I took every step together. Also, from the care we received from those at St. Boniface, Health Sciences and the Canadian Cancer Society. My heart gives thanks to Sue (Geraldine) and Allen. Your support will not be forgotten.
