Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHUCK GLADE It is with profound sadness that Chucks family announces his sudden death on October 25, 2000. Chuck leaves to mourn his wife Carol; his two children, Karen (Steven) and Jonathan (Jennifer) and his grandson Ethan. He also leaves his mother Sophie and his brothers, George and his wife Brenda, Ted and Terry. Chuck was born on August 3, 1951 in Edmonton, Alberta. The family moved to Winnipeg where Chuck grew up. Chuck and Carol married on June 18, 1971 at St. Thomas Church in Winnipeg. From 1974 to 1981 he worked for Winnipeg Transit. For the past 17 years Chuck was employed with BFI Canada Inc. where he served as the Operations Manager. The family would like to thank Cliff and Laurie Lechow, Stonewall Ambulance Service and the staff at Health Sciences Centre Emergency Department, especially Leslie, along with all family and friends who have offered their support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3B 2H8 in Chucks name. Memorial Service will be held on Monday, October 30, at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at Luxton Avenue with interment follow at Brookside Cemetery.
