Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNORMAN WILFRED CORBETT It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Norman Wilfred Corbett, beloved husband of Marion Edith Corbett, on Friday, October 27, 2000, at the Health Sciences Centre, at the age of 78 years. Norman was born on May 8, 1922, in Winnipeg, Man.,, the only child of W. Jack and Edith (Oxenham) Corbett. He trained as a navigator in the R.C.A.F. during the Second World War, and he graduated as a chemist from the University of Manitoba. Norman worked for C.I.L. in the "Fabricoid" Division and later as a real estate appraiser and broker, latterly with Morden and Kemp Realty. Norman took pleasure in nature and the outdoors and was a member of Fort Whyte Centre. He was an active, longtime member of Deer Lodge United Church. He took great pride in the accomplishments of his children and grandchildren. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Marion; daughter Diane (Gill), David and Geoffrey; son Brian (Rena), Caitlin and Keith; son Rick (Heather) and Christopher; and special friend Ray Dewson. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 1, in Deer Lodge United Church, 2093 Portage Ave., with Rev. Dr. Peter Denton officiating. A special thanks to the staff of West Park Manor for their kind and loving care.
