BARBARA JOYCE DAVISON Barbara Joyce, passed away into Jesus loving arms, on Thursday, October 26, 2000 at home, surrounded by her loving family. Barbara was born on March 15, 1929 in Saskatoon, but spent much of her life in Winnipeg where she met the love of her life, Don. They were married on July 1, 1954. Barbara and Don moved to Victoria in 1980. She is survived by her devoted husband Donald; her children of whom she was so proud, Camille Davison, Sharon (Don) Trochim and Mark (Lyn) Davison, as well as her precious angels, her grandchildren, Erin, Andrea and Kristin Trochim and Simon, Alexandra, Patrick and Nichola Teague. She is also survived by her brother, Peter Whitworth, of Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Marjorie Whitworth. Barbara will always be remembered for her beauty inside and out, even during these last few difficult days. The family wish to thank Dr. W.D. Robb and all the amazing and supportive staff from Home Care Nursing (Saanich Peninsula Health Unit) and The Palliative Responses Team. A special thank you to her family at Brentwood Anglican Chapel and to all those who prayed for Barbara and supported her throughout her illness. A Praise Eucharist in honour of Barbara, will be held on Wednesday, November 1 at 2:00 p.m. at Brentwood Anglican Chapel, with Rev. Dr. Wayne Short officiating. Reception to follow after the service.
