Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHERESE BERUBE (nee Raiche) After a brief battle with cancer, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mom, Memere, "Arriere" grand-mere Therese Berube on October 30, 2000 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Therese was born on September 24, 1928 and lived in St. Boniface all of her life. Dad, Lucien, predeceased her in 1980. Mom is survived by her six children, Patricia (Gerry) Trottier, Richard (Line) Berube, Robert (Yvonne) Berube, Bernard (Karen) Berube, Leonard & (Yvette) Berube and Doris (Marc) Touchette. Her grandchildren, Monique Lashley and Michele Baines (Trottier), Daniel and Miguel Berube, Stefan, Philip and Robert Berube, Chantelle and Julie Berube, and Rachel, Gabrielle, Christine and Patrick Touchette will forever remember her with fond memories. Moms grandchildren and two great-granddaughters, Kaedyn Lashley and Hannah Baines, brought her joy with their visits to the hospital. Moms sisters and brothers, Aurore (Edouard) Lafrenier, Ray (Viviane) Raiche, Gerard (Karen) Raiche, Lucille (Norman) Girourard and her many nephews and nieces will miss her. Mom devoted her life to the care and upbringing of her children. When the nest became empty, she volunteered at the childrens ward of St. Boniface Hospital where she met her close friend Lily. We wish to thank the staff on 6A and on the Palliative Ward at the St. Boniface Hospital. Their care and compassion was greatly appreciated by her children. We also wish to express our sincere gratitude to Lucjan on 6A and to Gina and Sheri on the Palliative Ward. You provided wonderful care to our mother and your kindness was felt by all of us. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Thereses memory to the St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Ward. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 2 at the Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. The interment of cremated remains will be held at a later date at the St. Boniface Cemetery.
