FLORENCE PEARL LIVELY (STANSELL) On Monday, October 30, 2000, Pearl Lively passed away at the Arborg Personal Care Home at the age of 91 years. Mom will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Ron Lowe, Wally Sawchuk and Don Lively. Also by her brother Howard Stansell; her grandchildren and other family and friends. Mom was predeceased by her husband Lawrence Lively; her parents; brothers, Earl and Otto Stansell and sister Ruth Lindal. Our mother will be remembered for her willingness to help others, her humour and her Big Heart. Pearl fostered over 50 children over a period of 32 years in a small home in St. James. All the children that came to her home were treated equally and given the love they so desperately needed. For years she had children come and go, some stayed for just a few days, some for weeks and others for several years. It was heart wrenching for her to give up a child even after only a few weeks although she tried not to show it. In her later years she still talked fondly of many of the children and enjoyed looking at her extensive photo collection of "HER KIDS". Mom lived in Winnipeg until 1981 when she moved to the Arborg Seniors Complex to be closer to her sister Ruth. She lived there until 1998 when she moved into the Arborg Personal Care Home. The family would like to thank Dorothy Stansell and Joy Gislason for the kindness and help they extended to Mom for many years. We would also like to thank all of the staff of the Personal Care Home for their excellent caregiving and the respect they showed Mom. A memorial service will be held at the Arborg Personal Care Home on Friday, November 3 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Arborg Personal Care Home, Arborg, MB, R0C 0A0 in her memory. We Love You Mom. Rest in Peace. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
