ERIC NICHOLAS HENRY WRIGHT, F.C.A Eric Nicholas Henry Wright, F.C.A., age 84, died peacefully in Vancouver on October 25, 2000. Predeceased by his sister Muriel and survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Erma; daughter Nancy and her children, Jonathan and David Eric; and son Nicholas, daughter-in-law Lesley and their children, Jacqueline and Eric Nicholas. Eric served as an officer in The Royal Canadian Navy on the destroyer Assiniboine in the Second World War. He was a partner in the C.A. firm Riddell Stead and successor firms, now KPMG. He was a hard working and respected member of the C.A. profession (F.C.A. in Manitoba and Ontario) and gave freely of his time to the profession, community, church and charitable organizations. He loved time spent with family and friends at the cottage, first at Lake of the Woods and latterly at Lake Muskoka, and as well was an avid golfer. But most of all, Eric was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandparent and he will be sorely missed by us all. He was always loved and will always be remembered. Special thanks to the staff at Crofton Manor for their care and kindness. There will be a private family service; however, in lieu of flowers, those wishing to express sympathies may make a donation in Erics memory to C.N.I.B. Library for the Blind, Braillists Trust, 1929 Bayview Ave., Toronto, Ont., M4G 3E8, or the Alzheimer Society of B.C., Provincial Office, 20-601 W. Cordova, Vancouver, B.C., V6B 1G1. Arrangements entrusted to: MOUNT PLEASANT FUNERAL HOME 876-2161
