Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCATHERINE (KAY) HRUSHOVETZ (nee BEHUN) It is with the deepest sorrow and regret that I announce the sudden passing of Catherine (Kay) wife, auntie, friend and neighbor. Kay passed away peacefully October 30, 2000 at Concordia Hospital at the age of seventy-five (75) years. Kay was born July 19, 1925 in Winnipeg, lived and attended school in Brooklands and Winnipeg. After graduating from school she worked at Macdonalds Aircraft, painting planes. Upon receiving her diploma from the Comptometer School she began working for the Co-Op Stockyards in St Boniface, later transferring to TCA where she worked for a number of years. Kay was a devoted wife and caring person who loved her family dearly, and especially young children. Kay was predeceased by her parents; her sister-in-law Anne; and her brother Michael. She is survived by her loving husband Bill of 42 years; her brother-in-law Doctor Semeon Hrushovetz and his family, cousins and many friends. Kay was a private person, enjoying taking short trips with Bill, visiting friends and relations. I wish to thank the staff at Concordia Hospital for their kindness and care and to friends and neighbors for their compassionate support and prayers, with a special thanks to Lorne and Ollie for their friendship and memories over the years. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 3 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at Luxton Avenue with Very Rev. Fr. John Melnyk officiating. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Catherines (Kay)s memory to a charity of their choice. Lovingly remembered, Rest in Peace Kay. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL, in care of arrangements, 586-8044.
