THERESE MERCIER (nee LACROIX) Peacefully at the St. Claude Pavilion on Tuesday, October 31, 2000, Mrs. Therese Mercier of St. Claude, Manitoba, passed away at the age of 94 years. She leaves to mourn her passing three daughters, Therese (Albert Le Gras) of St. Claude, Irene Bernard of St. Claude and Odette (Aubert Bazin) of Fort Saskatchewan, Alta.; 18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn one brother Claude Lacroix of St. Claude; three sisters, Anna (Lloyd McGraw) of Arizona and Louise Lacroix of Quebec, Noela de Montigny of St. Vital; three step-brothers; two step-sisters and numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Mercier in 1943; one daughter Josephine in 1934; one son-in-law Emile Bernard in 1995; one brother-in-law Ross de Montigny; four brothers, six sisters, four granddaughters and by one great-great-grandson. Prayers will be held at Adams Funeral Home on Friday, November 3, at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, November 4, at 2:00 p.m. with Father Rodrigue Bouchard officiating.
