NORTON WAIZBOIM On Monday, October 30, 2000, our husband, father, grandfather and kind-hearted friend, Norton Waizboim, passed away peacefully at Selkirk General Hospital at the age of 65. Norton was born in Flin Flon and moved to Winnipeg to pursue his career. He went on to become a CMA (lifetime member), worked in the clothing industry, enjoyed his membership and served as Commodore of the Royal Manitoba Yacht Club. Warm-hearted and quietly generous, Norton has touched many through his professional and personal life. He loved being with his dogs, his garden, and loved cat fishing. Preceded by his parens Joe and Fanny, Norton will always be remembered and loved by his wife Ingrid; daughters, Simone, Diana and Susan, their mother Miriam and grandchildren, Aviva, Joshua, Ari, Yehudi and Zachary. Whisper and Paddy will miss him too. Deep appreciation from us, and many thanks to the staff of Selkirk General Hospital for their wonderful care and comfort given to Norton, and a big thanks to Rolland Fontaine, Paramedic, for his compassionate attention. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent Rd., Winnipeg, Man., R2L 1X3, or Selkirk General Hospital Palliative Care, Box 5000, Selkirk, Man., R1A 2M2. We invite you to visit with family and friends anytime between 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 3, at Gaffers Restaurant (757-2350), east side of the Lockport Bridge, Lockport, Man.
