MAUDE TURNER On October 31, 2000 Maude passed away peacefully with her family at her side at Bethania Personal Care Home. She was predeceased by her loving husband Edward in 1982; brother Sid Beacham in British Columbia. Maude will be fondly remembered by her children, Sidney, Eileen; grandchildren, Sherrie (David) Skoog of Burnsville, Minnesota, Shannon (Sebastian) Popieul of Winnipeg and Jason (Tonya) Turner of Winnipeg; two great-grandchildren, Alexander Popieul and Riley Turner. She will also be missed by her two sisters, Lucy and Rose and her brother Harry. Maude was married to the love of her life Edward in 1941. Maude always worked in food services for various companies in Winnipeg including Eatons, Royal Bank, City Hall and Canadian Forces Base. She enjoyed life and loved to laugh. She enjoyed the company of her sisters, family and neighbours. After Edwards passing in 1982, Maude remained active, independent and up beat. She will be sadly missed by all that she touched. Maudes family would like to thank all the staff at Bethania Personal Care Home for the kind and compassionate care given to Maude. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Memorial service will be celebrated on Saturday, November 4 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. with Reverend Gerhard Friesen officiating. Interment Garden of Devotion, Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. A reception will follow in the Glen Eden Reception Centre. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN EDEN FUNERAL HOME 4477 MAIN STREET 338-7111
