ESTHER L. GODFREY (nee CATHERWOOD) Esther L. Godfrey, October 29, 2000, peacefully in her 95th year in Richmond, B.C. Esther was predeceased in 1988 by her husband of 60 years, John A. Godfrey and is survived by a daughter Sherry OSullivan of Williams Lake; sons, Victor (Wayke) of London, UK and Al (Esther) of Richmond and by three grandchildren, Ruth Stubens (Tom) of Winnemucca, Nevada, Catherine Vick (Ron) of Summerland, John V., Godfrey (Karen) of Abbotsford and by five great-grandchildren, Carl and Paul Stubens and Jennifer, Bryan and Dean Godfrey. Her final wishes were no service, cremation. The family gratefully acknowledges and appreciates the kind and compassionate care she received from Dr. Scott Garrison and all the caring staff at CourtYard Gardens, her home in Richmond these last three years.
